Sounds like you're in an apartment complex private property parking situation they'll probably just follow your car to the visitor parking and continue to threaten to tow your car. Possibly get added to the lease? Get a letter from your now friend/ roommate that you are now a resident there to and obtain a parking premit? Or more park your car on a public street? And depending on which city you're in after a certain time limit of nmbr of days. You'll need a city sticker to park also going back to establishing that you are now a resident i.e. current lease renter's agreement and or current mail delivered to that address and then changing your cars registration i.e. tag and your license. Or keep your registration handy so can claim your car after it's been towed. BECAUSE it sounds like someone has complained to the management about the parking situation and now you AND your car are being watched for any type of infraction. Hopefully this helps?
