Adopt some great pets
Guyver II
Our daughter was howling for a cat, so we ended up going through PAWS. The interview process is relatively extensive, they want to make sure you can take care of the animal you are going to adopt. Marty was wonderful to work with and is VERY knowledgeable about cats. Cats are $40 to adopt and you can purchase a cardboard carrier for $5. No problems at all with Chowder, he's a very vocal cat, talks non-stop and has gotten used to us, as we have to him. Note the cardboard carrier only lasts a few uses, Chowder lost his mind and tore a hole in the side trying to escape; however, he loves cardboard. We bought a giant cat tree for chowder but was returned because he was scared of it, but he loves his cardboard box.

Some of our dogs have been helped by Janet @ D & G's Paws and Claws Snack Shack, 5356 N. U.S. 68, Wilmington. You might also wish to search online for dog trainers near you.
For donations or for animals?
PAWS Humane Society does not have daily hours. The pet adoption center is open by appointment. PAWS can be reached by email, phone and messenger.
We are sorry, but PAWS does not offer a low cost spay/neuter program. Suggest you contact Wilmington Area Humane Society or Fayette Regional Humane Society. Best wishes.
