If only I could give Zero. Worst service, communication, manners, overall understanding of how a business operates. It was a job getting through our time there. Was 30-40 mins getting WATER. Nothing came out in any sort of order whatsoever. I haven't ate the food yet because I've been here for going on 50 mins and still...no...food. It's lunch time. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. Don't do it! Unbelievable.

Nice atmosphere. Food was lukewarm at best. This was my second and last visit.

My friends and I grabbed lunch at El Rancho Grande on Saturday. We were greeted and seated immediately. We were one of only two tables in the dining room around 12:30 on Saturday afternoon. Our server was pleasant, but was not at all outgoing. We ordered and the food seemed to take forever. We had all finished our first round of drinks before our food arrived. I had to go to the host stand to ask for refills. The manager and the other server were on their cell phones when I approached. They seemed genuinely bothered by my presence. Our food came out before our drink refills. My order was incorrect. I simply ordered a shredded beef chimichanga ala carte. I order this every time at the El Rancho near my house with no issue. My order arrived with but was the dinner with two chimichangas and rice and beans. The server did not understand that the order was incorrect. I finally just took the plate and was going to eat it. However when I cut open the Chimichangas they were filled with ground beef. I attempted to send it back. When she finally took the plate back she brought out another entree but with one chimichanga. I accepted the plate and ate just the chimichanga. When my check arrived I was charged $16.99. Wow! I asked for the manager who then told me I had to pay for the platter. I told him I wouldn’t, and that he needed to correct the bill. He told me the server was new. I said I understand and she is very nice but that I was only going to pay for what I ordered. He finally adjusted the bill. Also it should be noted that the kids meals do not come with a drink, and the kids drinks are $3.99. I ended up paying over $12 for my daughters kids meal and drink. For a cheese quesadilla and fries! What a rip off. Overall, they have raised their prices to ridiculous levels, the service is mediocre, the manager is inadequate and the food was just ok (actually super salty!) I won’t be eating at El Rancho again, and I recommend finding any place else to grab a meal by UD Campus.

The patio on Brown st location wasn't very appealing to entertain because of the road & the limited seating. The one on Wilmington pike would be a good setting for u to entertain your guests. Might even be a good idea to go & speak with the manager the day before to make sure they know you want to impress your clients. Good luck
