Mark was a pleasure to work with - knowledgeable, professional, responsive, kind and patient. Mine was a complicated project (deck enclosure) due to multiple factors. Mark stayed in touch throughout and communicated well with my other contractor who was involved with the project. With people like Mark representing them, no wonder Champion is a long-time leader in their field. If I had it to do over again, I would engage a local contractor to do my enclosure. My circumstances dictated that I make a decision quickly and I chose Champion. I would suggest anyone undertaking such a project either have direct knowledge of the building trade or a good friend/advisor to guide them through the process. I did not have the knowledge and didn't have anyone available to help me. Long story short, I will note 2 issues here: 1) the project was too expensive, and 2) the finished product has a major flaw: I will not be able to leave the windows open use the screens when the weather is nice because there is a gap at the corner of every screen that lets in every kind of insect imaginable, up to and including, so far, wood bees, flies and mosquitos - kind of defeats the purpose of having a sunroom. I completed a service request and was told the tech would call me when he was headed to the house. They give you a 4-hour window, which I understand, and arranged my work schedule to be available, despite that being difficult. They tech did not call me, came and supposedly did some kind of repair - which did not fix the problem. He tracked mud on my newly installed floors and didn't bother to clean it up. I worked with some nice folks at Champion but overall I'm not happy. Update 10/26/22: I was told weeks ago that I would be receiving a call regarding the issues with my enclosure. To date I have heard from no one. Several days ago I left a voice mail for the woman who had informed me I have an open service ticket - she has not called me back. In the interim, another issue has come up. The lock on my sliding door does not work properly - I have to use pliers to lock it from the outside. I am so disappointed that Champion has not stayed in touch with me about my concerns. If all this is resolved I will post another update.
