The water tastes good because it comes from an aquifer/spring way below ground, but the utility company is ridiculously run. My water was cut off for owing $43 and change (for less than one month!). I paid it and was promised my water would be turned on the same day, a Friday. Nope. Not turned on. Had to go all weekend without water. Had to call them again on Monday. There was no history of me paying late or not paying at all.

The water I like. What I don't like is the terrible website and lack of options like automatic payment. I also don't appreciate not being called when my payment hasn't been received as the website is terrible so I clicked the wrong button and did not realize my payment did not go through so rather than calling and asking me to pay the bill alerting me that I had made a mistake on the website they just shut it off leaving me without water until the next day. I don't think it's too much to ask for you people to simply make a call the day or 2 before you come out and shut the water off. People make mistakes and with something as important as running water a city government office should take a little more care with its citizens who literally pay for the services and your paychecks.
jada west
Worst company ever!!

Worst place I ever got water service from. They purposely lock my online account non stop to make sure I cant pay it so they can charge extra fees etc. They want us to pay our bills but yet don't wsnt us to have access to do so !!!! Their stupid.

Call them it tells you on the website
Yes, but you have to pay your payment plan on time! I made a mistake of making a payment plan when I didn't really have to and I didn't pay it on the date that it was scheduled and days later they shut off my water for a very small amount. Needless to say I was able to have the water turned back on because the amount was so small, but there was an inconvenience. And they explained to me that day my bill could have been five times as much but as long as I paid according to my payment plan my water would still be on.
I want to pay next week
Call them
City of Dayton
Waste Water
If you are talking about after it's already shut off, it is a yellow card with the City of Dayton logo on it and the reason it has been shut off. If you're talking about what you get in the mail, it looks just like your water bill except it will say shut off notice at the top. It is blue and white.
Yes
