Please people, get your dogs spayed and neutered, but NEVER before 6 months to avoid a lifetime of Atypical Cushings Disease and years of misery and premature death for your pet.

I recently adopted a dog from this shelter, and my experience was one I won't soon forget. I got a best friend, and the staff were akin to angels; the staff is supremely friendly and compassionate towards their wards. God bless them, and the doggies I couldn't take with me. Go there and do good, like the staff does.

BCAS only euthanizes for untreatable illness or aggression. Call the shelter to speak with a staff member about surrendering. No animal in our care is euthanized after a certain number of days.
I have a stray cat that looks like she is about to have kittens l cannot keep her right now because my male cat is trying to hurt her can I take her to the shelter
Yes, call! I think they close at 5
You could call and talk to them. They may know of some resources for you.
If your pet is chipped they will contact you
Like all shelters sometime they do sometimes but not always
I belive $60.
You can report them anonymously to ththe boone countyshelter/ASPCA. They will investigate cases of abuse, unsanitary conditions and try to find the animals a good home as Boone shelter is a no kill shelter. You can do all this anonymously
I adopted a kitten from them a couple of weeks ago and you have to go in their website and pick one from the animals pictures. They emailed me the application and I told them which one I wanted to adopt. I got it all done in one day. Good luck.
Thank you! A friend moved and left her with me hoping I could find her a home or keep her myself, but sadly my current situation won't allow that. I have my 13 yr old shep/lab mix who's having to adjust to things. I just can't take care of the poor thing like she deserves.

Animal Shelter
They should release him. Take vet records.
Boone Co. Shelter is awesome place to adopt a fur baby!
Depends on whether your animal has its shots or not, and if it was wearing it's tags. I think it's $35 but you may want to call and check.
I can't answer that either. You would need to call them.
I'm pretty sure they are. They are working very closely with foster families and are doing Trap Neuter Release with feral cats.
Call the shelter or your vet to make an appointment. The shelter will clip his ear, if you let them neuter him, your vet will charge more on the other hand.
They are very nice there. I know that they help out with low cost spaying and neutering, but not sure about other vet services. I can't imagine though that they would let an animal suffer. At least they might have some suggestions for you where you could go to find help. I'd just stop by, they might surprise you.
Call them.
When I volunteered there they would occasionally get a rabbit now and then. So your best bet is to call first
Im sure they will. Give them a call it woukd be worth trying.
I really dont know if they get into this kind of stuff.
They prefer you make an appointment by calling them. But if you walk in they will accept your animal.
No
Yeah no good reason has not always been like that
What i would do is call the animal shelter and tell theme exactly whats going on. And maybe take pictures for proof.
If you want to see the animals available at Boone county animal shelter you should be able to visit the website. They should have their pictures and info available.
Expired eggs are the worst.
They do have Guinea pigs from time to time. You need to call
You have to take your pet to the vet for that.
Yes
