This is a great place to spend half a day or so. It's definitely not a destination hike but if you are local or are just in the area it offers scenic trails that are more on the wild side, meaning not perfectly groomed but that is part of the charm, that wilderness feel. There is a main loop and some cross trails. There are some steeper sections but they are very short. So if you hiked everything you could probably get 7-8 miles in. This is a moderately used equestrian trail so you very well may see horses on the trail. It does get muddy in the spring and after rains. They do have a regularly serviced porta-potty. plenty of parking as well. You could possibly stretch it out to a full day if you decided to tour Dinsmore Homestead which is basically across the road.
