I was invited out by my Sargeant and her husband for a dinner. It was a dinner put together by her and another coworker that also has a campsite there. All the campers that came were so welcoming. The village is so clean and maintained. It's beautiful. Definitely recommend spending a weekend out there.

I've camped at Cave Lake for years. It is great for a relaxing place to stay and leave your camper year round. It would be nice if there were more amenities and full electric, but the water service has recently been upgraded.

I want to put one star so I can post on here but mind you I just wasted my time and gas to try plum out there just to find out it's not open to the public I REPEAT CAMP CAVE LAKE PARK IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC IT IS A PRIVATE LONG-TERM CAMPING SITE VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR A WOMAN WITH TWO KIDS AND A LITTLE DOG BY HERSELF

It is open now for permanent campers. I believe they are going to start renting the cabins again soon for single weekends.
There's a beach but it's pretty gross. It's best to go to longs resort and pay to swim. They maintain their beach and more to do for kids.
