Quiet place. We have stayed here in the past. As advertised. Easy in, easy out. Close to town. Very solid no frills campground. Host was very quick to respond when we had a question.

Cute, unique, and affordable. We stayed 2 days and two nights. Level gravel parking, full hook ups, and easy booking. I recommend reserving online or at least visit the website before pulling in. After reading the reviews, if you are used to RV resorts, this may not be the place for you. But if you want a unique experience, I highly recommend it. Melvin is very nice and the restrooms were fine.

Here's another Marfa mystery for you. How does an RV park run when the staff doesn't show their face outside their trailer? This park has potential. However, a little bit of clean up would have gone a long way. Piles of scrap metal and fencing, weeds, trash in the bushes, filthy bathrooms. A daily check of the campsites and bathroom scrubbing would improve this place 100%. On the plus side: dark skies, train whistles, friendly co-campers.

It’s easy to find (right off the highway) and close to town (5 minute bike ride.) If you register ahead, online, it’s a cinch to roll in and claim your space. Gravel parking areas are level. Power poles/boxes look new and put out the full voltage. Shower/bathrooms are clean. It’s a quiet place, which is to say there were no noise issues from other guests. If highway and or train sounds bother you, you might want to consider other options. I personally had no problems here. There’s a central gathering place (“lounge”) which could be fun if you were here awhile. I’d definitely stay again, when I came this way.

I believe the pull thrus are made for even the biggest RV options. Seemed that way when we were there, anyway.
