Having previously worked at a game store, I was incredibly disappointed when I bought a tested controller only to drive back home and find that it shuts itself off every few minutes in addition to a busted touchpad. After returning the first controller, I come back home with the second one only to find out that it drifts (Keep in mind I live 40 minutes away). After driving up for the third time, I'm told there's nothing wrong with it after seeing that their input reader read a 9% inconsistency, and the reticle was skewed. I ended up having to shill extra money to get a boxed controller in the hopes that it'll actually function. I understand it's difficult to test everything, but that's part of the job, and I've been through this song and dance before. Don't lazily wiggle the sticks in an input reader and call it a day.

Sigh. I really wanted to love this place. They did have a fine selection, decent parking, and pretty nice staff. Heck, a lot of the prices were fair. My issue was that I had asked for a price of an unmarked item, and the employee pulled up recent ebay listings (not comps, LISTINGS) to determine a price for me. If I wanted to pay ebay prices, I would simply just use ebay.

The selection for newer games is fine but if you are looking for retro games it's definitely lacking. There's also no masks required for entry contrary to the listing here on Google. Again not a bad game store, but definitely not much of a retro game store compared to other locations in the area.

Well stocked with a large variety of games, consoles, and accessories for just about any system you could want! The prices are incredibly fair and the staff is helpful without being overbearing. They're definitely worth a visit!

They sell all used consoles and had some new switch consoles at some points. Call them and ask to be placed on a wait list if they don't have something in stock. That's worked ple ty of times for me.
I'm not really sure what are they safety practice like due to covid19, I'm assuming that they also provide safety precautions for their customers by cleaning after each customers whom may enter the Cartridge Galore store.
