Prompt, professional in every respect. Adam and Ridek did a great job on site. Office staff is very professional and accommodating. Would not hesitate to use again.

Edmar Corporation Masonry do great work. They replaced and repaired my front steps, patio and porch in Bowmanville, Chicago. I am completely satisfied with their work ethic, finished product, and attention to detail. They also removed and replaced the original wrought iron hand railing. I kept it on their recommendation as replacing it is very expensive. The work is contingent upon the weather. What you want to hear from "the office" may be overruled by the weather, sometimes to your dismay. But the work is great and you will be happy.

After trying other means of getting my front concrete steps repaired, I decided to reach out Edmar Corporation Masonry. I wanted a complete tear down of my old steps and a rebuild of new steps. After getting on their schedule, they came out and started the job when promised and completed the total job as promised over 3 days. I was very, very pleased with final result and the professionalism of the company.

Hi RW, unfortunately not... I'm assuming you're referring to a chimney clad with vinyl siding, which would be framed. We only service / repair and rebuild masonry chimneys / structures.
Our quotes are usually prepared the same day our adjuster visits your property. Unless you choose to have it send via regular mail, you will receive an email with a link to open our quote / proposal. On complex projects, during the peak of our season, or when some unusual circumstances are in place, you may need to wait for the our quote a little longer.
We always do. If you're not fully satisfied with what we did or how we cleaned the work area, please call our office and we send a crew to correct any issues.
In most cases we secure all the materials for a masonry project, since this is the most convenient way for us and our clients. Of course, there are exceptions, you may already have the required brick, block, or stone at the premises. There are also situations when we provide you with our supplier's location so you can personally chose the materials - in such cases, you just give us with a name of the product you choose for this project. Each project is different but we always try to make as easy as possible for our customer.
We do accept major credit cards, cash, checks, and direct bank deposits. We offer online payment options / you'll receive an email with secure payment form to complete, you can send a payment via regular mail, or you can visit our office and personally deliver the payment.
The most common payment schedule we use during the active season is 50% (plus permit and canopy cost if required) at contract signing, which secures your placement in our timetable. The remaining 50% is due at the project completion. Larger projects may have the payments divided into 3-4, required at certain stages of a project, or after city inspections. On projects signed during the cold months, and scheduled for spring, we usually just take a small down payment at signing and the remaining portion of the 50% before the project start. If for some reason you decide to cancel the contract before we begin work, the deposit will be fully refunded to you.
In most cases we only need water spout and electrical outlet access. Also, we always try to protect the surroundings as much as possible, however, there could be flowers, bushes, or other vegetation planted right next to the work area, that might get damaged. If this is critical, if there's no way to get to part of the wall / building without possibly damaging the vegetation, maybe you can re-plant it to other location until we can complete the project. In some cases, completing our work requires entering your neighbors premises. Please, notify them, ask for permission, or provide us with their contact information so we can do it on your behalf.
It depends on the project's complexity, size, and a number of crew members completing it. Since our projects range from small to very large, and crews from 2-3, to several workers, it is virtually impossible to put a fixed number of days to such question. Once we examine your property and prepare an estimate, that's when we can provide an approximate time frame.
We do work with a variety of masonry materials such as bricks, CMU blocks, and stone. If you are in doubt, looking for installation of some custom masonry product, please let us know when scheduling an appointment with our adjuster.
