Zippers right in, passed my test, renewed my sticker & off I went. We won't discuss the cost of the sticker but that's not the staffs fault, great job great attitudes all around!!

I think it’s one of the best centers around. Very quick & efficient. It’s like a get in & out

Easy...no waiting, quickly done. The only issue is it is hard to find.

Quick in and out facility. It's free of cost and you can get a renewal sticker there but they charge a convenience fee.

Yes. You can get a pass for around $17.00 for 7 days to continue driving. I think you can do this up to 3x in 6 months.
In Illinois cars are checked by its year od years or even years so every two years and you get a notice in the mail and cars older than 1995 don't need it
Yes...the renewal of car registration is an extra $19. The extra goes directly to Illinois Air Team company...I go directly to the Wheaton Express Secretary Of State facility on Liberty Street after my vehicle passes the emissions test...I just read other comments below and perhaps I quoted the wrong extra fee.
Absolutely yes. Generally the dmv(sec of state) requires it before renewal off your license plates. But, if you've already received notice , but don't have it on you, you can still go and get it done. They have it in their system
They just scan your vin number from your car. No ID or paperwork required. You can also get the sticker there but they charge an expensive fee.
1000 dollars. Just kidding, it is 1200. Me so funny. Looking that is.
Yes You will fail emissions if your light is on
After the test, if you pass they will direct you "around the corner" to get your sticker.
Check the Q&A on the emissions website.
The test is roughly three minutes. I was able to get through the first four seasons of Breaking Bad on Netflix while waiting in line.
Yes they have it in their system
No, but you can get a tempoary sticker valid for 7 days.
I got my car tested it pass long line but move pretty fast
No payment is needed for the emissions test if your car is registered in the Illinois regions that require testing. Out of state cars can be tested for a fee payable at the examination station, but there is no guarantee your home state will accept the results, so this option is rarely used. The only other item involving payment is vehicle registration. This can only be done after passing the emissions test. The registration sticker can be purchased onsite at the emissions testing station using a credit card and paying an additional convenience fee. Or you can wait a week (after the test results are sent to the licensing office) and purchase the registration sticker online (convenience fees also apply), by post or in person at an Illinois Secretary of State office.
Yep, not a big deal for me. However, I'm sure they could accommodate those with disabilities.
When I was there the line was extremely long. I waited and I was only there like 25 minutes. Once I pulled into the building it only took 5 minutes.
No. It's open. Best time to go in the Mornings. Don't go during 12-1 pm, it's rush time 😊
mine was September
No. They do NOT accept appointments Strictly first come first served
You don't pay for the missions test but if you have to renew your sticker you can only pay by credit card they do not take cash
No it s at no cost. Plus If you pass and you need your sticker for the year you can get it at this facility. It is a heck of a lot faster than going to the DMV.
No it's closed on veteran's day, was there yesterday they had it posted on there office door
i
Any day except Saturday
They were quick. Just make sure to stand on the orange X. The young man was very rude and barked at me for being about 12 inches off. (I understand the need for safety-. Never will I understand the necessity for rudeness)
You can do the test and if you pass you can go to their office right there and get the sticker right away.
He'll probably have to pay for 2 years and maybe a fine
I'm Mitchell Boulevard in Schaumburg at the Air Team testing location
Yes, you can go in for the test and there's an office where you can purchase new stickers for your plates. The line gets pretty long right now. I had about an hour and thirty minutes before I could get my car tested and buy my stickers.
Interesting. Always see them open. No idea any wild chance you are a block away?
I think you have to go to a DMV office that handles vehicle registrations. This facility just does emission tests.
Every two years. When you go in for the emissions test and pass, you will be given a note with your next test month and year.
They. Punch in your license. That's it.
Go to the emissions test office and tell them your problem they can help you with that.
The instructions should be on the back of the card they mailed you. Here's a link https://illinoisairteam.net/waivers-exemptions-extensions/ They also have a chat available if this doesn't help.
Good idea.
Yes
Yes. It goes by your IL license plate. You can test at any location in IL.
Bedford park location Are u open today til what time
It should tell you how to go about it on the main part of the card or on the back. Worst case is take the card to the DMV with proof you no longer own the vehicle. You know how they're sticklers lol.
1 is okay
It varies a lot, since there are no appointments, only first-come, first-serve. Near the end of the month, I would assume the lines are generally longer, since people's vehicle registrations are nearly at their registration date. You can try checking online; I'm not sure if they give wait times there. Or just go there, prepared for a wait and feel extra happy if there is only a short wait.
Call the testing facility for the most accurate information
No it will not effect the outcome of the test. The computer only looks at smog control
As others mention they will scan your car to get the vin.
They scan your Vin number once you get there so you don't need anything just your car
Just the test not the sticker
