UR Medicine Urgent Care – Penfield

I’ve utilized the UR urgent care in Penfield a few times for various reasons. Each time the staff were professional, respectful and courteous. Each time they have help me resolve the issue. I have faith in them.

My previous review was deleted so I’m leaving another because I want people to know how bad this place is. The doctors and nurses are very uncaring and not compassionate at all. I wouldn’t send my enemy to these people. They were so irritated and angry they had to deal with me. It was mind boggling. I wouldn’t go here.

I have been to this location numerous times and always had great care and service. Today was an exception. I went with my son at 5 pm at 6:20 we still weren’t seen and were told that there were still people ahead of us. We finally left at 6:45 because my son was tired and hungry and in pain, at 6:48 we received a call saying we could head in. If you have an hour and a half wait, it would be great customer service if you’d let people know when they are registering. I recognize that in the medical field you don’t know how long patients are going to take, but it seems that an excessive wait would be something you could tell a patient considering people who are going there don’t feel good

Called before coming and was told they are accepting people and could be seen for my concern. Drove 20minutes and was told they are no longer accepting patients at 6pm when they close at 8pm. The guy Receptionist told me they closed 25 minutes ago, and was rude as if I didnt call. The refusal of service and making sick patients drive to not be seen is not upholding their mission of providing quality care, and you don't see patients. I'll be putting in a formal complaint to NYS DOH.
