The pizza is fresh and great. Without disparaging the place, I'll just say my wife and I have always run into bad service here. Whether a long wait or just a bad day for the employee, it kinda makes it hard for us to pick this place first in ordering.

The pizza is getting worse over time. This place used to be legit. The Wadsworth location is slipping. A couple of weeks ago I got a pizza that was almost raw and I had to cook it!! Today it came so burnt the crust is inedible. Hands down the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I will be taking my dollars to another pizza shop from now on.

They have the only gluten free pizza my daughter will eat. Most places just use the frozen thin crust. Romeo's is actually more like a pan pizza. Is it frozen, I don't know. But she loves it and I can't say how thankful I am we have somewhere to get pizza where everyone can eat.

UPDATE: Despite the “response” to this review, no one from Romeo’s reached out to me after I emailed them. I guess they’re ok with serving bad pizza and god awful wings? I sent them a very detailed accounting of my visit and thoughts and never received any response. This is a fail as a place of business on all levels, from workers manning the fryer all the way up to management. Definitely best to avoid. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Romeo’s used to be excellent. I remember when it first opened, had one of the best pizzas around. Unfortunately it started going downhill, so I went back to getting pizzas other places. Last night, as circumstance would have it, my girlfriend picked it up on the way over. We got garlic Parmesan wings and a pepperoni mushroom thin crust. The pizza was ok (at best). The crust was decent, the sauce better than average, and it had plenty of cheese. However, when you order toppings, there is a certain expectation to receive a fair amount of those. There may have been a dozen slices of pepperoni and I highly doubt any mushrooms were hurt in the making of our pie. It was pathetic. And then there were the wings. My girlfriend told me when she picked up the food, the place was smoky because they told her they had “just got done frying a bunch of stuff.” I will say, with how burnt our wings were, they definitely contributed to the smoke show. And honestly even if they weren’t burnt, they would have still been disgusting. They were tiny and mostly gristle with very very little meat. And they were swimming in a pool of yellow fake butter that tasted like neither garlic nor Parmesan. Seriously, garlic Parmesan wings are sooo easy to make, I just have no idea how it can be so botched. We had to throw the wings away, they were so far from being fit for any mammal to consume. So, to sum it up: if you need to choose a place to get pizza in Wadsworth, there’s many better options. If you’re wanting some wings, you’re better off going hungry than getting these.
