Let’s start with, I have stayed in hundreds of campgrounds, and I wasn’t expecting the serenity of a state park. With that said, let me describe this “campground.” In an area where land is inexpensive, the spaces are barely large enough to open your awning without hitting the camper next door. Although they do have full hookups and adequate WiFi, they literally have nothing else except the soft sound of the two highways for which this is at the interchange. No picnic tables, no grills, no fire pits, no grass, two isolated bathrooms (one men one women) with code locked doors. No office, no store, no public tables, and of course no pool or playground, one old grill with two plastic chairs under a small shade shelter where the air is polluted by the smell of rotting garbage. Oh... and they only take cash. This said... the hosts were genuinely nice, but for $45, I would rather stay in a Walmart parking lot. At leas t then you get a paved, level space.

Spoke with Denise several times prior to stay. She was extremely nice and helpful. We arrived and stayed 4 nights. Incredibly quiet park, great location, friendly staff...no problems, awesome sunsets. Happy we chose Pinon RV.
