If I could give minus 10 stars I would! This place stinks of cigarette smoke and the staff smokes. Rooms are dirty, old and in desperate need of a renovation. Total waste of money and couldn't wait to leave. Old forge Motel is 100 times better.

Zero stars! I have never stayed at a place where the owners were so rude and Inconsiderate. The mother / daughter duo were the most unfriendly people I have ever met in my life. First off I tired to check in at 2:10 pm. The website states if your coming in early let us know. They wouldn't check us in until exactly 3:00pm. They had 20 plus rooms available but stated the rooms were being tended too. Our cable didn't work and so you call and all a sudden it works. The rooms were disgusting old, dirty and just a very run down facility. Cameras everywhere like invasion of privacy. Im wondering how they pass inspection. I'm actually looking into this. You think you'd put your pandemic fund into the motel not buying a Lincoln 😊 Unfortunately this is the only place in downtown that you can accommodate more than 4 per room next time we will pay the extra 300 per room to not give these ungrateful people our money.

One star too many. The owner has zero compassion. We called to transfer a room from one name to another. The original reservation holder had a brain aneurism that ruptured, would they transfer? Yes and no. I could make a new reservation and take that room and PAY for it, again. They gave us a hard time about the 24 hour policy- yeah, they offered a gift certificate (which she callously said she didn’t have to do) As for the new reservation - they ended up denying it because I would be taking 5 children with me. Could we get a second adjoining room? No. As for saying a kid would sleep in the car, he was totally kidding, trying to lighten up the owners rude and miserable attitude. They called him dishonest and wouldn’t make a reservation for me at all. I decided to take 3 of the 5 kids and another adult would take the other 2, they refused to make ANY reservation for either of us. This lady was unbelievable. She had the nerve to call regarding his review and tell him he should worry about his family and not the reservation. Really? Distracting the children while their Mother / Aunt is in the hospital IS TAKING CARE OF THE FAMILY. They can’t go see her! We certainly don’t accept moral advice from a woman that added stress and upset to an already devastating situation. Shame on her!

UPDATE: In response to the ower's reply I ask - how were we rude at check in? You got an attitude when we didn't understand your parking lot regulations. Due to a foot injury, my girlfriend couldn't have our vehicle parked across the street in case she needed it. As far as not mentioning our issues with the room until leaving this review, what exactly could you do to address them? Remodel so the room was larger and we wouldn't hear our neighbors conversations clear as day? Bring us a better quality mattress, pillows and TV? Given that most of the negative reviews mention your unprofessionalism, your reply is no surprise. Astronomical rate charged compared to the rate listed on their website; totally rude towards paying lodgers; completely unprofessional when it came to explaining the parking lot situation but did nothing about guests revving their snowmobiles for over an hour at 2 AM; no cleanup of anything in the parking lot so walking across the lot or on the sidewalks was treacherous; small, outdated rooms with 20 inch TV's, uncomfortable beds, flat pillows, and only 1 towel and 1 wash cloth per guest for 2 days stay. Not a single positive element to this hotel other than its central location. Not only will we never stay again, we will never recommend this hotel to any other potential lodger.
