I absolutely hate motels. I've never had a good experience until now. The staff was absolutely great! The rooms were very clean. The closeness to the shops and restaurants in Old Forge was perfect. The only reason why I would give them a 4 star is because there were no rooms with a king size bed. And the rooms could use a touch up they are from the 70s

I know “you get what you pay for” but a stained blanket, poop & pee droplets on the toilet rim, crumbs on the upholstered chairs and dried food on the table top is all a bit much to overlook. The pool was ok, not warm but refreshing and the front desk was friendly enough. All of the positive reviews lead me to think maybe it was just our bad luck? Good thing I brought my Clorox wipes and Lysol!

This motel may look a bit aged, but it provides a great place to spend the night (or two!) in the Old Forge. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Bring your swimsuit - they have a clean heated pool! And enjoy the view of grazing deer right out your sliding back door.
