No cars were available when we went to retrieve our rental despite having a reservation well in advance. Service at the counter was extremely poor. The woman at the desk was highly inefficient and contributed to an excessive wait time (30 minutes with 2 customers in front of us) and was an unskilled user of her computer which didn’t help. When we pointed out that the wait time was unacceptable, she was rude and blatantly lied to us about the fact that all companies in the building did not have cars, when that was in fact false-the counter next door clearly had cars. It also didn’t help that the were having IT issues which contributed to the long wait. The line at the counter next door (Sixt) was well over twice as long as the Dollar line and went at least 4 times as fast.

Understanding that the car rental company will never guaranteed to provide exactly the same car booked, but nothing more disappointed to see the car booked is there at site, but the service officer is just refuse to fulfilled customer’s wish to give us the car booked. We had to take another car which we are not familiar to drive, with a lot less trunk space, and significantly smaller, which Dollar car rental classified it under the same “4 cylinder” category. 😭

They over book and expect customers to wait on a vehicle. And the time loss they will not compensate or discount rate. I would use Avis or budget they are better

They claim they have zero cars available yet offered an SUV available now to the person at the counter next to me. When I insisted they provide that to me at my booked rate, they suddenly pretended they had no SUVs available after all. Lena, the manager at this moment, was clearly lying, and they will lie some more to try to sell you an upgrade. Disgraceful. Long line, lots of people waiting, zero cars. Avoid at all cost.

Using a credit card should be all fine. Debit card has restrictions, such as presenting a flight ticket at airport location.
The car rental terminal is directly across the street from bargain claim. They are on the ground floor. Car pick up on higher floors.
