I was initially impressed by Tom Clarke, the owner of Keller Pest Control. I requested contact through the online portal and received an email directly from Tom. I called him and he was very generous with the amount of information he gave me. He was kind enough to try to save me money based off the information I was able to provide him and based off of what specific pests I'd be treating for. He suggested I catch one to be sure before signing up for services to be sure on the pricing. I called back the next day, after business hours, thinking I'd be leaving a message on the work machine. At 7pm, Tom answered my call and talked to me for 30 minutes about my problem. I thought that was excellent service. We scheduled an appointment but he never showed up. I waited an hour before calling to check in but there was no answer. I left a message. I waited one more hour, called a secondary number, no answer. I left another message. I waited another half hour but no one returned my calls (and still haven't called, not even to apologize); no explanation for why my house was prepped for treatment and left to hang all day without so much as a courtesy phone call. I reached out to other businesses and was able to schedule a same-day visit through Joshua's Pest Control - they had someone come to my house an hour after I called. The technician worked me in between stops with other customers. Treatment was done in less than an hour. This was such a relief because I literally had to take apart my house for Keller to come and they were no-call no-shows. It would have been even more of an inconvenience to have to wait any more time with my kitchen turned inside out and packed into other rooms. In addition to the house being upside down for Keller's no-call no-show, my father who is disabled and worn down because of cancer treatment, had to spend all day out of the house starting at 12pm, waiting on Tom, until 8pm when Joshua's treatment window was up. Had I known Tom couldn't make it, I could have saved my weakened father a 8 hour hassle. Tom seemed like a sensible guy so I'm not sure what happened. From my initial experiences, he was knowledgeable and cared a great deal about my misfortune and wanted to help me right away. He even told me I should price check other companies to see if I could save more money before settling on him, which is why I picked him. He was very upfront and customer-motivated, answering calls and chatting after business hours seemed like a sure win with me, so I wish him better luck in the future.

We have called Tom on a couple of occasions to assist us with bee problems in our yard and Tom was able to come on little notice and did an excellent job resolving our problems. Tom is very knowledgeable and dependable and we will always call Tom when we have pest issues.

Hope this is Tom from Keller pest control. I just saw this message so that's no reason for the delay in responding to you. The way we treat for roaches depends on the type of roach. It can be German roaches. Or Oriental or American. So to answer your question I need to identify would step approach it is because they all have a different lifestyle or biology I should say. The first one requires an extensive treatment which includes liquid residual, including

What is the general cost for carpenter ants, and spiders spraying?

Lisa It depends on the extent of the infestation and the type of spiders we are dealing with.Generally with Carpenter ants you want to find the nest and eliminate it. They usually will be found on exterior walls or decks. They prefer areas that have a moisture problem but could be traveling from trees or landscape timbers or wood piles. Treatment includes using bait around the activity areas wood piles trees etc. Then dusting the attic and in the wall voids. Also a residual material will be applied. As far as spiders go we use the same dust in the attic and any protected enclosed areas, Then residual material is applied in a crack and crevice method. But the best way to resolve spiders especially brown recluse's is to use glue boards to trap them out. Average cost for Carpenter ants can be 300.00 to 500.00 or more.It depends on house size and infestation. Spiders would either be treated as part of the ant treatment or for a minimal up charge. Either pest needs quarterly follow ups.
