I have to admit at first reading all the reviews, I was a bit skeptical after I booked hotel, but my experience was GREAT! From the moment my daughter arrived to the moment we left! Front desk was awesome, we arrived about 12 and at about 2/230 front desk called me my room was ready! So I loved the fact they gave me my room early!! Room was nice and cleaned! MY FAVORITE PART OF THE HOTEL was the fact that I parked in the parking lot, walked a few stairs and I was on the beach and when we were done we walked like 5 seconds to hotel lol! I had an awesome experience and my daughter loved the hotel! Definitely will be staying here next time we are in Corpus!!

This hotel is disgusting! It’s like an overpriced motel! You can tell that there has been no work done to this hotel. The owners pocket the money and none of the money actually goes back into this hotel to make it better. You would think for a hotel at this location on the beach where tourist go it would be much nicer, but you’re wrong. This hotel is so nasty and dirty. Every time I left I felt like I needed to shower again. The hallways are filled with trash. House keeping doesn’t pick anything up. Everything is outdated. The ceiling has mold. The hotel stinks and is so old and ran down! The location is not worth staying at this dump! The swimming pool is disgusting. I feel like I’m going to vomit writing this review. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!!

The hotel itself wasn’t the worst I’ve ever stayed at, but it definitely wasn’t worth the money. If I had to do over again, I’d have stayed somewhere else and paid a little more. When people say the walls are thin - please believe them. There are doors e tween the rooms (that are locked) but you can hear everything next door. Down to voices just talking. There is no privacy and if the neighbors have screaming kids, you’re really in for it (ours did!). I’m hopeful I can share photos of the “private beach”. I HIGHLY SUGGEST not paying the additional amount for the beach view. It is not worth it. Oh! Also, the floor was so dirty in our room, we literally laid towels down and made paths to walk on. That’s not a joke. A couple steps and your feet are black with dirt (not just the expected sand but actual dirt). It was filthy. Something sticky was spilled all over under the edge of the bed- that was hard as hell to get completely off of the bottom of my foot. The plug in on one of the bedside lamps didn’t work. My fiancé and I took turns charging phones. The breakfast was way over priced for what they had. The lady working the buffet was nice, but the food wasn’t good. They had very hard “fresh from the back” French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles you could make, maybe something else I can’t remember. But none the less the overall quality wasn’t very good. I’m not picky but this was nothing to brag about. Your much better off finding a cafe in the area. Just a tip also- if you are planning to book with them book directly through their website it’s the cheapest route. At least it was for me. When I went in person to book it was $60 more in person! I booked online then showed them my reservation. Ultimately, just don’t stay here expecting a nice place. It was tolerable, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

We booked/stayed one night only as a stopover place. Check-in is a hassle. Took around 25-30 min. The line loops around the lobby. Two people working at the desk. After 10 min of waiting in line, my husband still had 17 people in front of him. We were checked into a room that a lady was still cleaning (the bathroom floor was still wet) She apologized for our wait. Regardless, the tub still had hair in it as well as the bathroom floor. We were on the first floor outside the indoor pool. Inhaled chlorine all night. This setup is so strange. Pool was so cloudy. My kid wanted to go swimming and I told him no way! Double beds are big enough for one adult and we are not big people. The only nice thing at this hotel is the really heavy and sturdy outdoor furniture at the beach bar. They must have spent quite a bit on that but, that’s it. Long wait to get a drink also. My husband had a canned beer, I had a water. No coffee offered at the outdoor bar, the hotel convenience store was closed and no food to be found. (Not sure we would have had anything EAT here anyway) No reason at all to return to this place.

No local would EVER swim there. The water is awful. Drive out to Mustang/Padre where, BTW, there's real sand, sand dollars, dunes, etc.
They are not what the internet shows them to be. We were disappointed in the property . We also were woke up at 3am from a fire alarm that was suppose false alarm but it was going off non stop and no one at the receptionist desk to answer the phone to tell us if we were safe or not. We paid for 3 m.j night's and fourth night was free but it wasn't worth it. My Mom paid for this as a get away for me because I beat 2 different breast cancers and yes she was very disappointed with the property. Take it from me you don't want to stay here rather than if they have a mold problem or not. Hope this helps you with making your decision. Pictures online are not what you get .
No cost does not include breakfast. They have a restaurant inside the hotel.
It varies by season, but you can fish catfhis, trout, redfish, croacker and drums
It's an older property
I called beginning of March 2021 and was told that hurricane Hannah damaged it and it has not been rebuilt yet.
I don't think there's and daily deposit cause they don't clean or refill anything unless you request it. But I bought through a third party so I don't know for sure.
Yes to both questions, and I second Allen's praise of the staff. Everyone there was so incredibly nice!
You would have to call the hotel and ask for the number to their main office..
At that day phone lines is not working from AT&T
I can't comment on your situation But in my moment I was there It was all excellent Service, attention, place and space, was my experience. Thanks
Not sure you could just call and ask? No harm in that
I would walk it out before. They have changed the parking a bit lately. There are gates and the entrance drops down a lot and there is a hard right, the angle is not good. 4/2022
Not a pier but my husband just fished right in front of our room. He caught one fish using squid
Im fairly certain there is in every room but you could call to confirm just to be safe.
The sand is perfect for it. Bring some pails and shovels for them. If you don't have that stuff there are shops all around that sell it.
Yes but take note that there is a minimum check in age and that is 21 yrs old. Thay is according to the email confirmation received after booking
Yes they have a breakfast buffet everyday or you can select a breakfast plate. Food is very good at there restaurant
No free breakfast...but they do have a restaurant in the hotel opens at 6 30...food is pretty good there
There's a wal mart a few miles away. I went there and bought swimming shorts. If you see a heb you should try that store. They have everything you would need. Happy traveling :)
