Natural and preserved are strange words to describe this place. It is a large bulldozed area with a trail surrounding it. The invasive grasses have replaced a lot of the native plants. There is a twisty wooded section that is a bit more natural than the rest but suffers from the same invasives taking over. Seems like a great place if you just want to blow past the nature on a bike or go for a run.

What a cool trail! It's so windy and fun! The vast majority of the trail is shaded and it's just gorgeous. I saw a ton of wildlife including snakes (one HUGE one!), an armadillo, a couple different types of woodpeckers, an owl, and some sort of yellow and green bird that I've never seen before. All of this and I did this hike in the middle of the afternoon (around 2:00)! I only saw 2 other people in the parking lot and no one else on the trail. Such a cool surprise!

Amazing place for walks, runs, bike rides, and disc golf. Do avoid during rainy times though, clay soil is a muddy mess and takes fairly long to dry

I give it 4 stars if not really developed but the spaces are open and there's places to walk your dog play Frisbee golf and there is a running trail. They have added an exercise area, all of the equipment is static but it won't break. I'm going to try it a couple more times and give it a chance I'm not sure I like it but I don't hate it
