First, I would like to say thank you to the whole staff at Pet Rest in Peace. We lost our beloved bunny Maple. When I called, Kurt answered and was extremely compassionate. We were able to bring Maple in that day. They went above and beyond and were so caring, they took the time to explain every step. Both Dana & Marisol were sweethearts and really aided in such a difficult time. They referred to our dear Maple as family on multiple occasions, which is a small thing, but mattered to us greatly. We were able to say our final goodbyes in a peaceful environment without being rushed and were invited to “take all the time you need” throughout our time there. The urn and added clay pawprint were beautiful. I would give them 10 stars if I could. This place checked all the boxes for making the unbearable… bearable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a place to give their beloved family member a final resting place.

Our cat crossed the rainbow bridge at home. We were heartbroken. We had him 16 years and was the best cat ever. Our only pet. He was our family. We new nothing about how to handle this. I checked out Pet Rest in Secaucus and it had great reviews. My son and I took our beloved cat there. We wanted him cremated because I could not bear the thought of never having him with us again. As we walked in we were greeted by Caroline. I can’t even begin to tell you how very compassionate she was the minute we explained we had no clue how to proceed. The place was so serene and calming. We felt at peace in an instant. The service Caroline gave us was beyond anything that we expected. Our Mister received everything he so much deserved for the love he gave us for all his life. This place goes above and beyond. We are forever grateful to Caroline and Pet Rest for giving our loved one the send off he very much deserved. We will recommend you to all our friends and family. You are the BEST! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️🙏🌈

My family and I lost our shih-poo, Oreo, during the early morning of labor day (around 1:15am). I can't stress this enough but this place went beyond my expectations when my fiancé called them early in the morning and they were able to take my little buddy in before closing. The patience, compassion, and empathy they had for us was phenomenal. I knew right off the bat that they will take good care of my Oreo during the whole cremation process. I want to thank Kurt, Dana, and Marisol for allowing us to take our time to fill out the forms, to the paw print memorial design, to designing the name plate, for giving us a call to make sure everything is okay, and to provide anything they could to help us ease the pain. I absolutely appreciate you all especially during these difficult times. I 100% highly recommend this place.
