Great atmosphere! Lot's of great picture's of celebrities that have eaten there. The food was delicious! The service was fantastic! Our server "O" was incredible! The bread pudding was yummy 😋 !! I was given the recipe. I will be back next year!

There's a handicap entrance at the backnof the glassed in big dining area. Pull around to the back and you can roll right in. Just call them first.
Usually MM is open on Christmas Eve and YES INDEED they DO sell Gumbo by the gallon AND half gallon! You can get it "cold" OR "hot"! We buy a gallon EVERY year for Christmas!
I don't know the answer to your question; however, I do know seafood is a prominent fare at Mary Mahones. Depending on your mother's allergen severity, she will be exposed to dishes being served at adjacent tables, passing by on server's trays, and the unavoidable accompanying fragrances. I hope it works out for you because it's a great restaurant.
Your choice! People walk in wearing tourist attire; causal. I, personally, have gone for lunch in business attire. I've gone for dinner on dressy jeans. I've also gone after a formal affair or before dressed in a gown. For the most part, I would say "dressy-casual". Personally, I don't think "shorts & t-shirts" are appropriate, but I have seen MANY tourists walk in dressed that way.

It is definitely not a budget restaurant but the food quality is top notch.
Business casual, shorts are ok. I've worked there for 18 some odd years. We aren't terribly picky about how you dress. Just want you to come in and have a great time.
They do have lunch. You will be eating in the dining room. All manner of dress. Comfortable chic works well.
We had reservations but walk in is ok if not large group...it is amazing!!!
