Since most of the steak and shakes went drive through only I haven't been. Ran over to grab some food and of course no dine in. Its disappointing they have all but disappeared. Seems that the new model isn't working and it would benefit your business to revisit the way that worked for my 50 odd years. My burger was good fries were cold and drink was cold. I had to drive my semi through the drive through to get my meal. Use to be a great place to dine now it's a pain to dine. Rant over have a great day!

DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION! We ordered ahead on the app and when we arrived the store was closed. My card was charged but no one answers the phone to get the charges refunded. Can't seem to find a way to contact corporate to dispute it, but I'm assuming it's now a franchise. We were from out of town so can't go to the store to resolve either. Shouldn't be able to steal your money because the hours aren't correct.

It has been almost 8 weeks since a requested refund was made on the corporate support site, with a reason given for poor service, long wait and then poor quality and cold food via drive thru in Plainfield, IN location. That information was forwarded to the 'new GM' to rectify since he then contacted me identifying himself as the "new GM" by text, asking me to call him. I was not interested in text or calling with an unidentified person. I replied I requested a full refund of receipt plus tip and wanted only that. Another text that was received, saying he will give me the food (which was not wanted nor requested), and my money back but he would be there 10-4 the next day if I wanted to stop in. I replied I expected the refund with no further inconvenience to me. I was again asked when I WOULD LIKE TO COME TO GET MY MONEY BACK? I asked for a name and stated I would contact the corporate office who had contacted him about the initial complaint, stating again, I was not wasting more of my time. I have received nothing further, no refund, no reply from a corporate entity. Today, I have again requested a refund. I will not return to any Steak and Shake.

It wasn't horrible. The service was excellent. Burger was too greasy for my liking. I got the Frisco Burger, will not get again. I would go back. Usually the food here is good, for fast food. Shakes are always awesome.
