My husband has had State Farm for over 25 years, I have had them for several years and we both agree we never want to look elsewhere. The group at Chili is amazing and has always been so professional but also warming/caring like family. If I have a question about car insurance, house insurance, or even insurance for my valuables- I get quick responses to emails and/or phone calls. They are just absolutely amazing! Tara is on top of everything. She noticed a discount that wasn't added and made sure we got it. She and the rest of the team is truly AMAZING! We love them!

I met my State Farm agent, Tom Kernan, as the coach of the 'other' hockey team that oftentimes shared the ice with my son's same-age team. After watching his exceedingly more well-planned practices and the contagious laughter emanating from his part of the ice, I found myself wanting to watch the magic he brewed with his players and coaches that made theirs a sought-after experience. It came down to the precise mix of knowledge, the right perspective and a good dose of wholesome humor. I found myself fortunate when the two teams merged with Tom earning the headcoach of the newly formed superteam. Soon after, I learned of his involvement in the insurance industry and he graciously answered my questions without ever selling me on the merits of State Farm. His industry and practical knowledge drawn from years of experience was palpable. His demeanor beyond reproach. In time, I asked for a quote and found my current provider was a bit more competitively priced. That didn't stop his thoughtful answers to my questions whenever a need arose. After some time, I started to think why I kept going to Tom for my questions, what did he provide that my own agent didn't? The answer came in looking back at the person who coached my son's hockey team those years back. Tom's knowledge was formidable, but if he wasn't quite certain of a topic he quickly got back to me with rock solid info. He was accountable. He had the right perspective. His entrepreneurial spirit grounded his approach that his customers are the life blood of his business and he knew it was a privilege to serve them. And finally, his demeanor is always welcoming with a solid dose of good natured humor thrown in, no charge. His should be a patent-able customer service artform. So, when my insurance needs peaked around a year ago, I asked for another State Farm quote. It was competitive. I realized that the agent you choose is an important component of the overall deal, and that put Tom's quote well ahead. I haven't looked back and am quite pleased with State Farm and Tom Kernan. I know that they're 'on my side.'
