My mother enrolled in 2002. Spent an estimate of $23,000 from 2002 to 2018. In 2018, my mother needed home care. This company did nothing but make matters worse, impossible to get answers. By the time we got things in order, my mother past away. Ridiculous loop holes, "changes in the policy, unclear answers, a complete and utter waste of time and money. Wasn't till I filed a complaint with the state did they release information to us. Long term policies are, in my opinion, a scam! DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU ENROLL in any such policy.

All I know is that in 8 years, they have not raised the rates. What is with these people who give bad reviews and no reasons why? Sounds like folks doing something they were told to do....

My mom has had nothing but a great experience with this company.

The Life Insurance Company Guaranty Corporation (guaranty fund) is applicable to long term care insurance policies issued by life insurance companies authorized to transact accident and health insurance in New York. This fund applies only to insurers organized as life insurance companies. So the short answer is, it depends.
Call your insurance company and file a claim. After a medical claim is submitted, the insurance company determines their financial responsibility for the payment to the provider. This process is referred to as claims adjudication. The insurance company can decide to pay the claim in full, deny the claim, or to reduce the amount paid to the provider. I hope you're doing well.
No. Pay by check or EFT.
