The Grand used to be THE place to go grab a coffee or a drink and hang out or study. In the past years they have gone down hill. My last visit was extremely disappointing. There is no free WiFi, just a passive aggressive sign that says "talk to each other" They got rid of their very nice espresso machine and downgraded, food and bakery options are not great. Staff is nice, but thats about it. Like why not just quit while you're ahead instead of making what once was a great place worse and worse until you go out of business??

Really cool place. One of the better set ups I’ve ever been to

Stopped in for cocktails. Service was friendly and prompt. Outdoor patio was nice to enjoy the evening There’s construction so it was sort of a pain to find/get into the parking lot. But that’s not their fault.

It’s such a nice and hidden little business. It’s both a restaurant and a cafe shop. It’s quiet and ideal for getting some work done. There’s a few creative things in the menu like this Mac n cheese Cheeto burger. The prices are reasonable and definitely won’t leave a dent in your wallet. The restaurant itself is cute and looks appealing. Including the restrooms. They’re clean and follow the same asthetic. Go and experience it yourself! Great customer service.

Yes! ...it was Barney & Friends!
@karen Diaz The Grand - not the best choice for vegan meals. The Vegan House (on Adams) & Pita Jungle on 3rd Ave are more inline.
Yes but masks are required and no food other than some sandwiches late at night
No, it's still thriving 24/7
Kitchen closes at midnight
Perfect wifi. Password is posted as soon as you walk in and visible so you don't have to ask.
Honestly I believe there is no age limit I brought my 13 year old cousin here, so I think there is no age limit.
There is currently no Open Mic
Sorry, I didn't see anyone using the patios to smoke
No. The hours open are listed here on the google page and on their website at TheGrandAZ.com
No pool tables and not sure if they're doing open mic at the moment because of COVID - they do have an instagram however that's active and up to date, so it may have a better answer than myself.
Mask when you're up moving about.
I've never been for brunch, but I'd advise to give them a call and see if they do reservations
Yes it's open 24/7 & has plenty of seating and coffee & food available!
@Doug: I called 4 times throughout today. No answer.
It depends on which patio dog you're referring to. There are no permanent patio dogs, but the patio dogs that do visit are often very friendly.
Unfortunately, with it being in central Phoenix there is very limited parking. There is available street parking with meters and garages in the area.
