Noise level is terrible! Can’t even have a conversation in this place when it’s nearly empty. The interior is tall and empty and industrial. It is like they tried to make it noisy in there. Terrible.

I just created this account after leaving this Starbucks, JUST so I could write this review. I’ll make this quick and simple. They never get your order right. Even though you order online exactly what you’d like and the sticker breaks it down for them exactly. I have to ask to have it remade every time and when I do they question me in a very judgemental way about how I want my coffee. I don’t understand how every other Starbucks I’ve ever placed an order with online has it perfect, But south gate Lakeland Starbucks just can’t. I will no longer be ordering here even though it’s closest to my house.

I’ve stopped at this Starbucks quite a few times, with it being in such a convenient location. Though I must say, I’ll always miss the old Beacon Road location- the retro gas station-turned-coffee shop was super cool. But I think the move to this location was extremely necessary because there’s way more room for parking and the flow of constant Starbs consumers. The workers here are for the most part awesome in my experience. Though, sometimes they can be a little rough, but I’ve noticed that when ordering inside, so I’m not really sure what that means. Anywho, you can mostly expect the same thing from Starbucks to Starbucks (bet you can’t guess which ones I’m talking about). I recently tried the coffee cake and it’s actually pretty decent. I do get a little weary of visiting Starbucks just because I know everything I eat has an insane amount of sugar, carbs and all the rest. But it’s definitely a fun spoil sometimes. Their refreshers are also the best of any coffee chain and I’ll pick those first over others, but not Starbs coffee (sorry man it’s just the truth). Lastly, I love where this Starbucks is located now. In the Southgate shopping center you have a really great view- the famous Southgate neon sign! That never gets old, and when you go through the drive thru it’s on all glorious display right there.
