It's the hardest course according to slope rating in Wichita, but it doesn't play like that it's just long. It's a very fun course to play with some challenging holes. You even get some wildlife encounters with your round with all the deer that populate that area. Practice facilities are very nice with a long range and 2 greens for chipping and putting. Overall it's one of my first options to play when going with friends since there's really no real OB danger and very little water on the course.

We usually go as a group of four and were average Joe golfers. Every time we go though, its fun. The course is not that difficult, I would say beginner to intermediate level. The greens are kept well and people are nice. We never feel rushed by people. Definitely one of our favorite places to go.

Who is veteran and how much is the annual membership fee?

There is no annual fee for this course. It is a public course run and maintenance by the city of Wichita. The city does offer an annual pass for all the courses. They come in a variety of ways but you still have to pay small green fee with the pass. I figured you have to play a minimum of 50 rounds to start benefiting from the pass.
