Friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff!

I had purchased a bicycle from the local University of Missouri Surplus Store and it was in pretty rough shape. The gentleman at Walt's looked it over a few times and gave me a price estimate that was nearly spot on when I came to pick the bike up. Things that there were no parts available for, he had made in-house and pointed out to me at the time of pick up. To top it off, the staff here are always as professional as can be.

The people at Walt's have always been friendly and helpful to me and I trust their work!

The staff at Walt's are highly knowledgeable, tremendously helpful, and above all, kind. They have repaired my tires from flats, repaired my gears and derailleurs from trail damage, and I've purchased both of my most recent bicycles from them.

Debra Wenger I can install your bike rack
Im sure they would show you how to so you could do it next time. Tires twnd to lose air so if you are riding a lot you should be able to check and refill them everyday. Or at least once a week.
I believe that the expertise needed does exist here. Come tomorrow as more techs are on for a special promotion. Every other gearing is not that usual for the huys at Walts.....
What kind of GT bike do you have?
The MKT and the Katy trail are both susceptible to flooding. The Katy trail had parts closed all along the trail this summer. Some spots were closed for months. The MKT connector trail floods, but there is a diversion around a sewage plant (smells gross, worse bugs) if they dont raise some of these trails i am not sure how long they can be sustained
Well the short answer would be to ride it 😀 But seriously I think they can get the help you need. They support most all major cycling events in mid Missouri. Give them a call (573) 886-925 They close at 6pm
Walt's CycleX and I think Klunks will all have rentals available
We have a Puch that needs a carburator we have a Schwinn legacy that is in nice shape and we have a really nice tandem bike it is for an adult rider with a child training bike that attaches to the back
Depends on what all needs to be done. I go to Walt's for everything. I would say their the most reasonable in town. Ask for Bryan he is top notch!!
They are about one mile away.
