Attended a wedding. Nice church. Pastor repeatedly got the names of the bride and groom wrong!

Yesterday [8-8-2022], I briefly visited the inside of the Saint Christopher Catholic Church building [in the "Fifth by Northwest" Neighborhood of Columbus] so that I would be able to take several pictures for Google Maps. I have walked past that building hundreds of times during the past forty years or so and have always wondered what that building looks like on the inside. The huge three-story-tall blue stained-glass window on the west [Grandview Ave.] side of that building has always been exceedingly beautiful to me. The only pictures of that church that had appeared on "Google Maps" -- until earlier this year -- had been of the playground [that I believe is technically the playground of the next-door school, Trinity Catholic Elementary School, rather than being a playground of that church]. Earlier this year [3-21-2022] I took several photographs of the outside of the building – viewed from several different angles and of several different subjects -- and then posted them to Google Maps; however, I had still wondered what the inside of that church looks like. Yesterday, I found the entrance for the church office [that is visible from the parking lot], "rang the doorbell," visited that office briefly, and then was given permission to take photographs inside of the building. I had been disappointed to learn that organ pipes now block a portion of that three-story-tall blue stained-glass window. I am certain that that organ had been installed later. I had been expecting that it would be possible to see all of that stained-glass window from the sanctuary. It is possible to see the entire stained-glass window from the narthex [immediately west of the sanctuary] but only when one is alternating between looking directly upwards and looking straight ahead [from only about twenty feet away]. I had been planning to take a picture of the entire stained-glass window -- from the inside -- from about fifty feet away -- but that had not been possible. There are now six pictures of the inside of Saint Christopher Catholic Church that have been posted to Google Maps. I greatly appreciate the warm reception that I had received from the Saint Christopher Catholic Church staff while I had been visiting their building briefly so that I would be able to take some pictures for Google Maps.

What a GREAT Catholic parish!! Super friendly greeters, a beautiful physical space, and the Polish priests are obviously holy servants of God. Their homilies are extemporaneous and filled with helpful faith teachings and joy. The parishioners are friendly. There’s a vibrant young adult group. It’s a wonderful parish with great people in service to each other.

Would be 5 stars, but (not his fault) the priest's accent makes him difficult to understand (at times).
