They no longer repair devices; not electronics, not tubes. Sadly, they were known for doing good work with that in the past.

The retail music store no longer exists. They have no music equipment for sale nor do they service it. I discovered this after driving 35 minutes to the store and not when I called to ask for directions. "Oh, we don't have any of that anymore, the guy moved away". So if you're looking for gear this is not the place.

Is it cheaper to recone a speaker or purchase a new one? I have some Advent home stereo speakers and the outside of the whoofer is seperated from the whoofer. speakers are 5 1/2 inch inner 6 1/2 outer circumfrance

Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. But it doesn't hurt to call and compare the price difference. Also to see if they can get a recone kit for that particular speaker.
