As the sole caretaker for my father, who is on hospice and bedbound, I found the nights to be exhausting me. Desperate, I called Visiting Angels. Tawnya was absolutely amazing. She came to our home the same day, and I felt really good about the company. Several days later, we were sent the most wonderful aid. She has 15 years experience, and after an hour of chatting and meeting Dad, I felt completely comfortable with this young woman. She continues to do a fantastic job. Other caretakers will understand what a relief it is to be able to go to sleep knowing that someone else is caring for your loved one. It’s really kind of life changing to be able to rest. Yes, meal preparation is part of the home care services we provide. Our caregivers can help Mom shop for groceries, plan and prepare meals, and keep her company during mealtime. We can also provide medication and fluid reminders if your loved one needs to take medicine with food.
