From our initial arrival and check-in the front desk staff was extremely friendly. They demonstrated a high-level of courtsey that allowed us to feel welcomed in our hometown. Arrived with the idea we had room for our family however, I misunderstood the room information and it did not come with a sofa-bed. Kat and her team did not hesitate to help and send us a roller bed. After explaining to management the family emergency we had and the predicament we had with space, Kat comped us an extra room out of hotel courtesy. The high level of hospitality that Kat and her team provided we'll never be forgotten. They went above and beyond to help us, as guest. To them it wasn't about giving us what we payed for and just doing their jobs their ultimate goal was to help us feel comfortable and have a great stay. You can not training this level of courtesy and hospitality. The following day as we were taking off Kat stopped me and ask how everything was last night, amazing as usual. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels due to work and I have NEVER felt so welcomed and pampered as this team has treated us. Thank you holiday inn for your hospitality you extended my family and I.

The room worked for what we needed it for. Very spacious and the views out the windows were beautiful. There were some thing that needed work. The room seemed to be set up as a hospitality suite. There was a table set up for 8 people and a queen size bed. Not all the light switches or outlets worked. The faucet in the bar area was not tight to the countertop. You had to hold on to it when you turned the water on. The chandelier was way to low ( my wife is 5'1" and she had to move her head not to hit it ). We did not complain to front desk about any of it. We just needed a room with a view and to sleep.. The staff and service was great. Very friendly and help us with anything we needed ( hair dyer / towels ,ect ) We will stay there again if we get down that way..

This was a very good stay with a spacious comfortable room. The staff is friendly, and the check-in process was easy. Onsite parking was great. The combination indoor/outdoor pool is a nice touch. I didn't dine in the hotel, but the restaurants looked nice and comfortable.

The service by the front desk and other staff I encountered were all very friendly and helpful. Location was nice and plenty of parking. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the rooms were spacious with a chair and desk. The plumbing in the building seems to be aging. Water pressure was low and tub was slow to drain, I spoke to other colleagues staying there and they had similar experiences in their rooms, so I didn’t call the front desk about it figuring it was just the way it was in the building. Even though the hotel provided notice on their website when making the reservation, It was still disappointing that you couldn’t open the windows to go on the patios or at least crack the sliding door get fresh air in the room, but I can understand how that could make things more difficult for the hotel. The window was sort of dirty as well.

You need to call. Because they say they have things and when you get there it is NOT what they told you. If you want a room with a refrigerator or microwave they charge you $10 extra a room if you require a microwave or a refrigerator. There is not a balcony that you can go out onto the doors are sealed shut. My advice would be to find one of the other 50 hotels in the same area that are a lot nicer with good views, accessible balconies, and don't nickel and dime you to death over things that normally come in a room that they're charging you that much money for. they also charge you $10 a day to park in their parking garage for the hotel and there is no street parking so you're going to have to pay it if you're driving your car. They also charge for your breakfast. Good luck to you. Hope you have a stay wherever you go.

coming in to stay in July what's the latest you can check in?

Brad Whelan | Jul 3, 2018

Dont listen to Marcus Sander's worthless answer. He's a fake "local guide." I got there yesterday at 6pm and was able to check-in no problem. Plus what hotel would have a latest check-in time of 5pm? You should be able to check-in until midnight bc thats when the bar closes. If you need to check-in later, call the hotel and let them know when you expect to arrive.
