Gym has a great selection of equipment, fitness accessories, and cardio option. Unfortunately, the facility is in disarray! Dirt, grime, and excess clutter all over. Needs a 2 day overall with a cleaning crew. I got a great workout but was distracted by the filth and maneuvering through the clutter.

I love this gym! It’s clean, and has a warm welcoming environment. Joe is great and extremely helpful. And you can use any anytime in the US if you travel. I would recommend!

STAY AWAY FROM THE SAN MARCOS ANYTIME FITNESS!!!!! I was a member about 6 years ago. I hardly ever had time to go but when I did, I could not use the leg machines. All I wanted to really work on was legs. Squat machine, taken as well as anything to do with legs. Men were always filled in this section of the gym. I was able to talk to Trey and informed him that I was not happy and wanted to see if there was anything I could do to be let off my contract since I had only been there a handful of times. He researched this and allowed me to be released from my contract. That was several years ago!!!! NOW, they are trying to report me for not having paid the remainder of my contract. They waited years to report on me. It is clearly a mistake but I do not know what to do. I called corporate and they said it was probably a mistake that the new manager or owner decided to file due to a misunderstanding. They said they would call the local San Marcos gym to ask them to call me to straighten this out. This was 2 months ago. I cannot get the owners or manager of this gym to call me back. I keep calling and leaving voicemails and NO ONE will call me back!!!!! OBVIOUSLY, I do not recommend them. Save yourself from having to go through this mess. I dont know if they will ever call me to resolve his. One unhappy customer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s a gym with mostly all the necessities, chill environment and not uncomfortable working out here as a woman. People mind their business and it’s not too crowded when I go. But for the love of god turn down the music !!!!! Not coming after anyone’s taste in music but it’s not necessarily whats even mainstream nowadays, and it’s literally blasted. Music for my workout and focus is important and I can always hear it through my ear buds. Literally the only really annoying con of this place..
