Solid joint for food while on 290... hidden gem and the best thing for miles. Friendly and fast service. Sandwiches & burgers are huge. Chicken was juicy. Fries were crispy. Will be back!

Was invited by some friends and come and join them for lunch. I've never eaten at this location before. Lots of wide open parking for small and big vehicles and trucks. Nice atmosphere inside of a large building. Had a stage and pool tables. TVs all around. The staff was very friendly. Large selection on the menu I had chicken fried chicken with gravy my friend had chicken fried chicken with queso another friend had chicken fried chicken with gravy the other had some sliders. All the food was excellent service was great. Certainly look forward to stopping there again. You can't go wrong with this location

A friend suggested this place for a lunch meeting. It was great! We sat on the back porch and enjoyed our meals, drinks, and conversation while most other patrons were inside. Prices were reasonable and staff were friendly. I’d like to come back on a Friday night and see what this place is like.

Although it's sister location is in Bastrop, this is the original Roadhouse with a bigger menu selection. You can never go wrong with a burger, but their fried pork chops and fried catfish are excellent! Save room for dessert!
