Seems like a great place for the family to hang out and have a great time

Total rip off. They do not warn you that this is like a rock climbing structure. There are no stairs or structures to be able to get on to the platform I did not realize this because the whoa zone in Holly does. So if you can not rock climb or physically do a pull up you won't even be able get up on the platform or get onto the structure. My mother and I bought tickets and basically paid for nothing because we couldn't get onto the platform. We were told by the manger that we would be refunded and were completely lied to because he had no intention of refunding our money. I definitely would recommend the Whoazone in Holly over jump island.

Life guard on duty was good and the kids have a blast here

Dogs are allowed, must be on a 6 ft. Leash under the owners control at all times. Must be able to pick up after your animal.
Restrooms are clean but no showers unless you are camping at the state Park
Yes, there is camping at the Brighton Recreation Area. You will have to contact them directly.
The park requires a recreation passport for entrance. You can find prices here: https://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-350-79134_79210---,00.html Jump island is an additional cost for each 45 minute session that I can't remember offhand but I believe we bought an all day pass for $25 last summer (2019).
Yes, several sizes
I am 5'10" and I can stand up on the side of jump island that is closest to the shore. On the other side of the inflatable equipment, farthest from shore, it is probably 8 to 10 ft deep.
In Brighton it is still Jump Island, other places it has been replaced with Whoazone
The beach is part of a state park so if you have a Michigan State Park pass, everyone in your car is free to swim and be on the beach. It's Jump Island that costs money. There are lifeguards and everyone is required to wear a life vest that goes on the island. I watched my fiance & daughter play on Jump Island from the beach and while wading in the lake. Hope that helps.
There are options. It is $15 for 45 mins but you can buy passes for 3 45 min sessions for $25 or an all day pass for $50. There is a discount if you are camping in the park. There is also a Groupon right now so look into that before you go.
Dogs are allowed on the grassy area above the beach but not in the water and must be on a leash at all times.
I used a Groupon. Fees are on the website though
When we were there, it was $15 for 45 minutes.
