all carpet remnants are 12 feet long by Xft. they discount it but not by much.
If you contact your nearest store they can get you info on local pros who would be able to assemble it for you.

It depends what kind of apparatus your using to burn the wood. Is it an outdoor fire pit, a wood stove, a natural fire place? Also is the wood split, whole skinned logs, or whole logs with bark? I'm going to assume it's an indoor wood burning stove and your using pre-split seasoned wood.. If that is the case then figure 4 pieces of split wood is roughly one full log, one full log will give you an approximate burning time of .5-1 hour of burn time or hot coals for approximately 2-3 hours pending your apparatus. If you want to maintain a steady burn for all 8 hours use 16-18 split logs if you want to come home to hot coals and restoke the fire you can reduce that number to 8-10. Hope this helped.
