Yes, we do. Some firms only help you after a denial, but at Levine Benjamin Law Firm, we help you from the very beginning of the process. We get to know you and your case, rather than treat you like another case file passing through our doors. That’s why we say, “From applying to appealing, we help you every step of the way.”
Nothing unless you win your claim. And then our fee comes out of your back benefits, which is a lump sum Social Security awards you for the time you waited on a decision. The standard fee Social Security allows is 25% of your back benefits, up to $6,000. Money for a disability attorney doesn’t come directly out of your pocket.
Yes, we are always happy to offer free initial consultations. There is no fee unless we take the case and win. At that point, we collect a one-time fee of 25% of any back amount awarded, up to a maximum of $6,000. Feel free to call our office at (248) 352-5700 and speak with one of our attorneys.
That answer is complicated. It depends on what type of disability benefits you receive—Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI)—and how much you earned while you were working, among other factors. Call us today to get answers about your specific situation.
Don’t give up yet. You’re entitled to an appeal, even if the insurance company is saying you aren’t. What you need to do is get a lawyer. The insurance company will try every trick to deny you coverage and protect their bottom line. We can help you get the compensation you need.
It’s possible. Levine Benjamin lawyers can analyze your policy and help you fight the insurance company for what you deserve. You can start with a free case evaluation.
Our firm has been helping people in need in Michigan since 1964. We’ve helped more than 50,000 people. Whether you have a personal injury case, Social Security Disability application, long-term disability claim or workers’ compensation claim, we’re proud to fight for your financial future.
Thank you for contacting us. To better answer your questions, please call our office at (248) 352-5700 and ask for Kevin Kain. Mr. Kain is the head of our worker's compensation department and will be able to explain your rights under the Michigan worker's compensation laws.
Yes please please call them. They were courteous, kept me informed. My lawyer was Claire. When you call speak with Mr. Bimberg he was my first contact. I highly recommend them.
A typical Social Security disability case takes about 4-6 months to receive an initial determination. If it is denied, an appeal called a reconsideration must be filed. At the reconsideration level, it typically takes another 2-4 months to receive a decision. If the claim is denied a second time, an appeal called a request for a hearing is filed. The case is then given an opportunity to be heard at an in-person hearing in front of an Administrative Law Judge. It is at this hearing where most disability claims are awarded. It typically takes another 7-10 months for a hearing to be held once the request for hearing appeal is filed. If you have any questions regarding your claim, please give us a call at (248) 352-5700. We handle disability cases from the very beginning through all levels of appeal.
Sorry that happened to you. I know if you do have a viable case Levine/Benjamin will help you win benefits. I'm a retired Police officer and I trust them and won my case because of their diligence.
When you receive Social Security disability benefits, you are receiving your full Social Security amount as if you were at retirement age. Once you hit retirement age while receiving Social Security disability, the amount stays the same as you transition into Social Security retirement benefits.
Thank you for reaching out to us. We can complete the initial application for you here. You do not need to apply yourself or complete any paperwork for us to start. Please give us a call at (248) 352-5700 and we'll be happy to discuss your claim with you.
Keep fighting for benefits. We can help file an appeal seeking to overturn the decision. Appeals give you more chances to win your claim. Your best shot could be at a hearing with an administrative law judge (ALJ). We stay by your side at your hearing and at any other point in the process.
Yes, but it can be tricky. It depends on multiple factors, including how much you’re able to work despite your health problems and whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work. Call us today for a free evaluation of your particular case.
Don’t give in to that pressure. You need to make a claim to protect yourself and your right to receive full benefits over time. The experienced lawyers at Levine Benjamin can help make this a fair fight against your employer.
Definitely. Time is ticking, though. You have to file your appeal within 60 days of your denial, so don’t delay in calling a workers’ comp attorney at Levine Benjamin Law Firm today.
No. The insurance company doesn’t have your best interests at heart. Its goal is to pay you as little as possible and get your case out of the way. You deserve proper compensation—in the maximum amount possible—for what you’ve been through. Before you take the money, get a lawyer to look at your situation.
Yes, we can. It can be difficult to get benefits under an ERISA policy designed for employees. You may have to prove you can’t do any sort of work at all. The law is supposed to protect people like you, but unfortunately it often helps the insurance companies more. We can make it a fair fight.
I would believe you would need to call a probate lawyer and speak to them. You can call the office and get a consultation free but I believe if she has passed and it's been reported to social security, they would stop her case. I would take the death certificate to the social security administration and go from there.
Call the office and speak to Attorney Bimberg he'll speak with her to determine if she has a case. There upfront and honest I trust them whole heartedly. They got me approved in year and half. Always kept me informed.
They don't charge unless you get a huge settlement, I got approved right away, and so did one of my friends I turned on to Levine- Benjamin, with no issues GOD BLESS
