We stayed one night at this park. We called to make our reservation and kept getting disconnected. So we made the reservation online, but when they sent the confirmation there was no site number listed as to where we needed to park. When we arrived on a Sunday no one was available at the office and even after calling the after hours number as we were instructed to do no one called us back to confirm a site location to park. So we found a site and parked it there for the night. Honestly, it would have been super easy to park there overnight for free because no one seemed to be there to monitor the place. The bathrooms were gross fortunately we had FHU and didn't need to use them.

This is a nice RV park. It does have a rustic look to it. The staff is very friendly. The only drawback is the train track. A couple times per day a train comes through blaring the horn which is quite loud as the tracks run very close to the RV park. To make it worse, the train runs on some nights and the horn was blaring at 1:00am - 2:30am. YES it was loud enough to wake me up each time. Suggestion to the owners: You can contact the rail line and ask that horns not be used (quiet zone). If they approve it, they will post signs on the tracks for the engineers to not sound the horn unless there is an emergency. I've seen these signs in quite a few locations along residential areas. Maybe at least have it evaluated for the night time hours. The tracks should have a sign posted at most intersections listing the name of the company who owns the tracks with a phone number. The RV spots are not far apart, but are spaced far enough, and with the trees does give a measure of some privacy. Spots are pretty level. I would stay here again.

My 3 daughters and myself stayed here for a couple of months. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we were safe, and even kept an eye out for my children when i had to work long hours. Reasonable prices, clean facilities, and above all Christian values that so many other places lack. Thank you BMRV for all that you did for us.

I spent 6 wonderful months here and was so sad to leave. Beautiful wooded park with friendly guests and incredible owners. The Furgesons truly made me feel at home in the Texas hill country. I would have stayed forever if I could have. On my travels and journeys through Texas if I'm ever lucky enough to be that way again I will definitely make my reservation there. Home Sweet Home.
