Grew up fishing the quarries for over 30 yrs. It used to be a nice quiet spot, now most of the trees have been cut down, it's crowded and commercialized. Not what it used to be

Parking is free, I don't think there is a specific entrance fee, but you have to pay for specific activities/day pass

Nope. There is a sign at the entrance that the area is open dawn to dusk.
