Even though I don’t live close to this trail anymore it’s still one of my favorites. Usually pretty easy to find parking and if you have kids the trails lead to the park. Also a great place if you’re a photographer like me to go take pictures.

A great, relatively easy hike. The trails are very well marked. Moderate foot traffic, so it's not the ideal place to go if you'd like to be alone.

It's open space, and eventually national Forrest so I believe you can. There are still fire restrictions in place.
