On February 12th 2022 we arranged to meet with Erica, after contacting patrician Banquet Center in schererville by phone, a man who answered gave us her number.. my wife and I thought she worked for the center, and we wanted to use the hall for our sons 3rd birthday celebration. On the 12 Erica said the hall would be available on the 9th of April from 3pm to 7pm for our event as we were looking for, Erica also mentioned that she had a side business called dream vision eventz that does decorating for parties, and by choosing one of her packages, the hall, all amenities, food, Drinks, and decorating will all be included.. all this time we were under the impression that she was employed by patrician. There were a few things we wanted done, and she put in a contract that she would handle, and other things were part of her package we purchased. We asked about access to the hall the Friday before the event on Saturday April 9th 2022 to do some of our decorating, with her response of she will be in there the weekend prior giving us full access as well. Come the week before the weekend prior we contacted her about her claim of getting in there, and she said, sorry, it will have to be Wednesday at 4pm a few days prior the party. Wednesday we called to confirm the time, she asked if we could make it at 5pm. We sat there prior 5pm waiting, and contacted her at 5:30 for her to say she's on her way, but not to show up until 6:30. We were allowed access and then rushed out, as she did nothing but deal with her children. We also ten were informed tat she does not work for the hall, she leases the areas, has nothin to do with the actual patrician other then rent it until it sells, hopefully soon to avoid others from being scammed as we did. The place needed cleaning, and carpet was full of crumbs. Thursday and Friday went about the same, her late in & rushed out. With her time spent also dealing with her children, or blowing up balloons for other obligations. We had to vacuum the floors on Friday and wipe the filty tables down. Come Saturday the day of the event she couldn't even be on time to let other vendors in. Erica, of dream vision events then ducked out of there fast as we had ever seen her move. She she did no decorating until 1 hour prior, even istalling propper table clothes was an issue with her, had no drinks other then cool-aid, didn't fulfill multiple contracted items (not 1 balloon blown for us, let alone baloon garlands). She didn't offer forks or spoons to eat with, offered no plates even for cake to be served on, and we had to rush out to obtain the items that should be included in a hall rental. Nightmare Vision eventZ run by Erica is a scam, she doesn't even do multiple items that her business package included.. Make sure you bring your own napkins, things get messy! Also if using Erica as a decorator plan on having extras to make sure her family is included.. At 6:15 Erica was pulling chair and table covers off, and making a scene until the local cops arrived upon our calling after threats by her over the phone to who knows who speaking of physical removal from her people and fearing our safety. When a hall is paid for from 3pm until 7pm, I have never heard of the renter having to be out of there prior the time alloted, if an event ended at 7pm last people are to be exiting at 7pm, then the breaking down of displays,and contracted vendors return to claim there materials. Very unprofessional and sad that schererville police had to be on stand by in the building to keep a grown business owner from screaming and acting as as bad as she did in front of elderly people and children. Don't use Dream Visions EventZ it's a nightmare to wake up to.

I wish I could submit this review with no stars because that is what Dream Vision EventZ deserves. I would not recommend this facility/ management company. The manager, Errrica, is unprofessional and rude. She isn’t punctual and will make you feel uncomfortable as a guest. I was invited to a party on April 9, 2022 at this facility coordinated by Errrica. I was disgusted by the unprofessionalism I witnessed. Errrica and her children (which I believe violates Child Labor Laws) attempted to break down the room before the party was finished, about 45 minutes prior to the contractual agreement. When asked why she and her children were rushing the party out, she immediately became defensive and began screaming at the hosts and guests. The manager, Errrica, was completely out of line and extremely unprofessional. The incident that was created by Errrica resulted in the Schererville Police Department coming to honor the contract that Errrica didn’t. The only recommendation I can make would be for Errrica to take a few hospitality courses at Purdue Northwest to educate herself on how to appropriately treat guests at her facility.
