Don’t use comed go off grid do research on making your own power

We are building a house in Frankfort, and we are just trying to have power connected to the property. This should be a simple task to accomplish for a power company. Antoinette Sanchez is the contact person in this area for new construction, and she is either completely incompetent, lazy, or corrupt. Or maybe all three of those things. We have been waiting over 6 months just to have them mark a spot for us to drill under the road to run cables for power. We have called multiple times and there has been no progress at all and we only get lip service from Antoinette. I can only imagine that the only way to get things done in a timely manner is by offering some sort of bribe. This is getting completely rediculous, but ComEd offers no true way to file a complaint or a review about this woman. Unfortunately, this utility providor is the only one here and we are at the mercy of them.

They produce electricity which I enter into commerce to purchase. Are some US states cheaper? Yes. Are some more expensive? Yes. Power outages happen. The grid is super old. I'd rather them have all hands on deck fixing outages than answering a phone call. The power will turn on once it's fixed.
