I searched high and low for the perfect tasting wedding cake and finally found it at Milanos. The weekend girls that helped us were very nice and accommodating. Due to an unforeseen circumstance I had to change the design of my 1 layer cake a month before our wedding. I showed a picture and the girl informed me I’d have to find my own gum paste flowers if that was the design I wanted. Easier said than done. Finally found some and they cost more than the $60 cake I had already paid for in advance. When I brought the flowers in on a weekday and mentioned to the girl how I didn’t understand why they don’t have a supplier for this kind of stuff she got VERY snippy and confrontational with me saying they can’t house all the decor. Obviously she doesn’t know what a supplier is. When my friend picked up my cake it looked nothing like the picture I gave. The flowers were just stuck on the top instead of cascading down the front and there was no decor piped on. My friend actually took it to a local baker to fix it before the wedding. The cupcakes were supposed to be frosted 2 colors and I got one which was boring, plain white. I forgot to mention the 3 times we were in Milanos we asked to talk to the baker and each time were told she’s busy. I have given 2 stars only because the cake was delicious but customer service and decorations 0 stars. I emailed the company and still haven’t heard back. So disappointed in a 105 year old local bakery I’ve always supported and recommended to others.

Came here specifically for a box of cannoli and a cannoli cake that I had custom ordered for my grandma’s 80th birthday. The cake itself was moist and it was designed nicely (hence the two stars,) but the huge disappointment was in the flavor of the cannoli filling. It tasted really sour, and both my grandma and I couldn’t determine if the filling had gone bad, or if they used way too much lemon. I can tolerate a lot when it comes to food, but these were inedible, and 10 of them ended up going in the trash. We had purchased a dozen for roughly $4 each, so tossing these wasn’t a cheap decision to make. The pistachios on the ends of the cannoli were also very clearly not pistachios. They tasted like crushed peanuts that had been dyed green. I know pistachios are expensive but for the price this place is charging for cannoli, the least they could do is not bastardize a classic garnish. And if all of this wasn’t enough, there was hardly any cannoli filling in the cake, about a centimeter in thickness between 2 thick layers of cake (although in this case, it was probably the saving grace since the filling is what tasted so terrible.) Our whole family is Italian and have been eating cannoli since the beginning of time, so I thought I had hit the jackpot when I found an Italian bakery that had been open for generations. Needless to say, our experience was a complete disappointment and will definitely not be returning again.

Very disappointed! Ordered 2 cakes for party. Prepaid for them. They had no cakes made when I got there. Save your money. Never again….

We got our wedding cake through Milano Bakery and had a great experience! We ordered a two-tier cut cake and sheet cake to serve our guests- and got several compliments on the cake throughout the evening and after our event. The cake looked like the inspiration picture we gave them, it was delivered on time, tasted great, and was reasonably priced as compared to other vendors we considered! I would recommend going in person or communicating over the phone to coordinate things, it seemed to be easier and quicker than communicating via their email. Overall, nothing but good things to say!
