Dr. Downey and the staff at Companion Care Animal Hospital saved our beautiful kitty, who ate a 5.7 foot ribbon. The cost was fair, they were professional and they saved her life. They had been the vet for all our animals for the past several years and we have never been disappointed.

Transgenderific

Dogs were treated well sometimes, except they failed to hear or see lung cancer in my pit for a year, after they witnessed breathing. Cat had to have surgery, wound up dying from complications after doctor scolded me for not going for expensive options. Last time, they were allowing people to walk-in with pets, but told me have to wait outside. 1.5 hours later, found new vet.

I adopted a dog through DITF and I was given no help or follow up appointment for her spay surgery. She is still dealing with complications. Edit- I called and asked if she could be seen again as usually it's custom that you do a check up after a spay. As I had concerns she may have had a uti as she had bloody discharge. I was told there was absolutely nothing you guys could do, not even a word of advice. She was taken for a test and it was negative. Still no answers on what is wrong.

Been taking my dog to Companion Care for over 13 years. Today I came home to find him so sick that I wasn't sure he would even make to the vet's office. I called Companion Care and told them how sick he was and that I thought it might be time to end his suffering. They told me they were too busy and to take him to an emergency clinic. Very uncaring. I could understand if I wasn't a client but I've been taking him to them for over 13 years. So much for loyalty to their customers. And don't blame it on the pandemic! 3 years ago I sat and waited over an hour and a half past my appointment time. I found out when I finally got in there that they had two emergencies which is why they were backed up. They could do that then but not this time?? Unbelievable. Right now I'm so sad and grieving over my loss but also very angry that they would do that to me and my dog. Can't and won't recommend them to anyone. EDIT:#1 As stated in my review, I told her that it was time to end his suffering. So, she either doesn't listen or she's just covering her a**. #2 I find it interesting that it took just short of a year for any response to my review. I wrote this review 11 months ago. That says a lot right there.
