I had a excellent move in orientation with Kim Kraft. She was very knowledgeable about the property and the made moving transition very easy. She answered all of my questions.

In all honesty, I will never go through Progress Residential again, and I have made sure to deter any of my friends and family as well. It was a constant fight to get the basic communication, which was made even worse when they completely canceled my application ON my move in day, with no warning beforehand, as we were making a cross country move. All payments had been made, lease had been signed, and even the utilities were in my name at that point. All customer service representatives were nice and very shocked of my situation, but I would constantly be transfered to someone else, until I ultimately spoke to almost everyone in the company. I was strung along for almost two full weeks, homeless in a whole other state with no idea of my next step because I was constantly told that "we will be able to reopen the application tomorrow, don't worry!". I made a total of 28 phone calls in the span of a week, as well as going to the office myself personally once I arrived in Houston, and none of them made any difference. I am thankful for Jessica from the Houston office for trying to fight for me, but ultimately nothing could be done for me. The whole process felt very dehumanizing and caused financial suffering, as well as physical due to becoming homeless for a long period of time. Please be wary if you are making an out of state move.

This place is definitely running a scam. I applied for a house well within my means and was denied and when I called multiple times might I add to asked why? they refused to give me a straight answer as to why I was denied. After talking on the phone for while and being transferred to another person they finally said it was because I didn’t pay the $100 holding fee which wasn’t true because I paid the $50 application fee with same card and they both showed in my account that the transaction was successful oh and in order for the application to go through successfully you have to pay those fees so they’re obviously lying and scamming innocent people looking to rent homes out of their money. When I brought this to their attention the person on the phone said that they were going to talk to one of their supervisors and solve the issue and call me back in 1-2 days…..well it’s been a week so I decided to call them and now nobody is answering the phone or attempting to even return my calls. So I will be reporting them to the better business bureau and the Texas department of community and housing affairs.

Yes. At least in my lease it specifies that you maintain the lawn (seeding, edging, mowing, watering, etc.)

Do they do check ups like pop ups at the homes? Or no one comes out unless you call them?do you have privacy

I have lived here for a year and the only time they have showed up is for maintenance when I call them.
