Get lawn seats for a reasonable price, then bring picnic items (blanket, food, wine, etc) to have a lovely summer evening. There is ample space, clean restrooms, and restaurants if you want to buy instead of bring. Every show we've seen here was a good time - if you are hesitant, take the chance without regrets!

Had the opportunity to visit Ravinia for the first time. We went to see Rodrigo y Gabriela. It was an awesome show. The location was very nice.

You can, but if they're picking you up directly from the park, they'll only be allowed into the west parking lot up to half an hour BEFORE the concert ends. Otherwise, you'll have to set one of the nearby train stations (1/4-1/2 mile walk) as your pick up. They cannot pick you up from the residential streets surounding the park.Ravinia Festival has a section on their parking page explaining the details.
Check the web site. It varies depending upon the performance scheduled for the day. As their FAQ says "Gate opening times are posted on each event’s webpage."
