Prices for dumpsters is outrageous. I was charged almost 250 a month for 2 dumpster pickups a month. Also customer service is unresponsive and does not return calls. I have tried for over a month to cancel my service. It's ridiculous that they won't respect a customers wishes.

Updated. Thank you so much for the driver who waited for me to pull my trash out on Thursday, 21st (Lake Forest neighborhood)! Very nice and professional. Previous: Missed trash service because “system” error changed my address. Not coming back for pick up until 4 days. After 3 reps (first two never apologized or showed any empathy/customer service training) and almost 30 minutes, the final rep at least apologized. Glad I found an old invoice, as their system was incapable of finding an address, phone number or email of their “client.”

Worst place to use. Over priced and the fees are constantly changing. Found a cheaper place for $60 every 3 months compared to almost $100 and these are set fees. Not to mention. Free trade drop off and pick up and the do house pick ups. Canceled my republic today and the earliest they can do is by the 31st!! Are you kidding me! And the fact they are charing $30 to pick up my toate when not even 7 months ago I was able to go pick it up for free!!! Yet now, the one down town isn't open to the public? Man this place likes to steal your money.

Have used republic for many years now, their prices are very fine for long term customers, and are punctual for pick ups on the scheduled day. There does seem to be some communication lag between the office scheduling the drivers for extra pick ups and I administratively I believe the office could use more help as I have had to wait on hold for some time before. That said I've only had good experiences when talking with the truck operators such as when a car needs to be moved from in front of the container or the container needs to be repositioned. They have good people working there, I think the administrative side just needs more support.
