Bad food, bad service, bad math. They got the bill so wrong and had to do math twice to figure it out. The " Big Smokey" is a pound of meat, yes, but tasteful it ranks a definite pass. The brisket was brown and overcooked with zero smoke ring. The sausage had no flavor and how can that even happen? Everything was overcooked and the pork one the same was tough. The sides were disappointing as well as though they were bought premade and just served from a container. We are sorry we every went and would have gone to Bill Miller's it Grady's and had better food which to me days everything you need to know about this place. Commercial BBQ is better than this place and who knows how they're still in business. I'd choose fast food BBQ over this place by far and it's a terrible shame to have to say that. The only reason they survive is the cheap rent from a long lease and a good location near the medical center with lots of new people coming by.

Tried this place for lunch today because of a recommendation from a co-worker saying they had thick delicious brisket....Well, no sense in thick brisket if it is dry and lacks flavor!! </3 The potato salad was gross, strange tasting mush...The beans were just okay. Even my tea tasted funny...it just didn't taste like regular tea w/cane sugar. Not sure what they're using or if their water filters haven't been changed and makes it taste funny - no clue but I had to throw out our teas!!! We ate the sandwiches because we were hungry but were NOT satisfied. IT WAS DRY AND TASTELESS!!! Was heartbroken because I expected juicy, flavorful, and thick brisket !!

Did the old owners sell this place. It used to be great, but it sucks now. The barbecue sauce was tasteless and thin as water. Barbecue chicken was old and dry as hell. Brisket tasted like beef jerky. The pinto beans and green beans were straight from the can. In the past I would rate this high, but I wish I could give the new owners a zero. Waste of time and money.
